Throw is beige, rust, blue and green; 66" x 53" and is 100% cotton. This one-of-a-kind throw was designed by local Pima artisan Amil Pedro, who was a recipient of the coveted Arizona Indian Living Treasures Award for 2006. The throw features designs symbolizing the 1500 wild horses that roam free on the Gila River Indian Community, the pottery craft of the Maricopa Tribe and the Basketry craft of the Pima Tribe. The flute playing figure is also a sacred symbol found throughout Tribal history and on petroglyphs across the Southwest.
